DO IN yoga is training in ‘doing’. It is a type of yoga that has dynamic as well as slow sides and is focused on the routine of daily life. DO IN yoga helps us to discover that our possibilities in life are often a lot more than we think. Concentration, stability, adaptability and perseverance are in the centre of this focus. The exercises are meant to get to know our own boundaries and stimulate us to push those boundaries? It is always about using our possibilities to the maximum and increasing our self-knowledge.
DO IN yoga is there to restore the contact with our internal life power. Correct breathing, exercise, nutrition and mental disposition are the aims to reach that goal. DO IN Yoga stimulates us to perceive ourselves and shows us how we deal with our surrounding in order for us to come closer to realizing the happiness of every living creature, which is the ultimate goal of yoga.
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini yoga is one of the main features within yoga. It is exercised as a way to arouse the latent power of the nerve system (kundalini) by focussing on the body’s energy centres (chakras) Physical exercise is combined with different breathing techniques, especially ‘fire breath’. Breathing is what’s most important here
Kundalini yoga is also called yoga of awareness. By regularly exercising this form of yoga there is a growing awareness of ‘being, an awareness of one’s actions and the consequences thereof. This acquired awareness allows us a better communication here and now!
